they have a link on their website to the hotel quakecon is in, but I bet that fills up quick. Also might be pricey.
http://www.quakecon.org/venue/ Is that 145 a night? probably, that'd be cheap for the whole con.

For military members: https://www.nexnet.nexweb.org/pls/ne...odge_number=33
It's not billiting. It's an actual hotel on the base. But you have to be military to get on the base. It's $62 a night, I believe. And it is also on the west side of Fort Worth, 45 minutes away from the Hilton. But I live right outside of base and I'll be driving there every day.

There's a Studio 6 (Motel 6 extended stay) not too far from the Anatole. I lived there for 3 months when I first moved to Dallas.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=2201+Stemmons+Freeway,+D allas,+TX+75207+(Hilton+Anatole)&daddr=2395+Stemmo ns+Trail,+Dallas,+TX+75220&hl=en&geocode=CY13Smv6u cgsFdKC9AEdF4M6-iGAc8RZOqYPsg%3B&mra=pe&mrcr=0&rtol=1&sll=32.82935 4,-96.857889&sspn=0.086114,0.152435&ie=UTF8&ll=32.831 423,-96.859074&spn=0.086112,0.152435&t=h&z=13
It's like 5 miles from the Hilton and it's like $47/night for a single queen bed and $55/night for 2 full beds.
It's real close to plenty of restaurants, or if you really want to live on the cheap, they have mini kitchenettes with a microwave, fridge and sink...
