Re: Idea for next year - "try a game with teamplayers"
I picture the BYOC area being like the Teamplay Corral - an extension of the booth - a place to exhibit the product we talk about in the booth. Everybody who brings their own machines plus a few "Guest" machines for walk-ups to use and enjoy at their leisure.
I also like the idea of having a few in the actual booth itself, but maybe keep those manned with TTP'ers on mics doing what we do. In a game like Tf2, maybe have them playing medic to show the importance of support classes and the kind of things that can be accomplished when a pair of players communicate - let alone a whole team!
I dig it!

Re: Idea for next year - "try a game with teamplayers"
There are a ton of things we could do, like setting up PUG's, a vent for organizing tourney's, running the BYOC Tourney's, offering to let people play with us in the BYOC to get the full TTP experience. It can be a very long list.
IMO we need both, a presence in the exhibition room, and the BYOC. And setting up a way to link the 2 is a great idea. In fact I think we did do some of that when we had Bigag's machine in the booth playing COD and they asked that we get TTP COD players in it I volunteered my machine and let other TTP'ers play.
We're not going to dominate QuakeCon - for one simple reason, we don't play Quake. But we can and should dominate the games we play both in the BYOC and exhibition hall.

Re: Idea for next year - "try a game with teamplayers"
I can see it now..
"Do you have what it takes to be a Texas Teamplayer?" Ira booms over the loudspeaker... "Come on over and let's see what you got!" (people waiting and watching with smiles to sit down at a teamplayer computer as they get free goods)
As a gamer gets up from a TTP computer, Ira's voice is heard thru the air again, "We got a true gamer folks! Looks like Viper49 passed the teamplayer challenge! Cmon people, step on up!"
