Kicked at the Last Second

I consider it a priviledge to play on a well organized server such as TTP but am concerned about what happened last night. On 4/24/08, Thursday night at 10:30pm, Hwy Tampa Titan, I was having a great game as squad leader under ATEXAN&HISGUN defending the titan. At the last second of the game I was kicked by the admin (I say this because I did not see any vote started). The only thing I can think of was perhaps I offended the moderator in some way (sj4t??Bigdogg?). I have gamed with most on TTP and have avoided being kicked by following the rules but last night has me wondering.

I appreciate your consideration and apologize my first post is a negative one..

So are you claiming admin abuse or are you asking what happened? What did the "kick" message say or were you banned?

The message was that I had been kicked from the the server for by either excessive team killing by the admin or by a successful kick vote. I would consider it admin abuse if I were kicked for no other reason than having a great game and perhaps repeatedly killing the admin was what got me kicked. sjt17 was one of the people whose number I had that game. Lord knows how frustrated I get when I get killed by the same person over and over again. On the other hand, if there was something that I did that resulted in my kicking, I would like to know what it is so I can continue to play on the TTP servers.

Just tried to join the TTP server on BF2142...apparently I have been banned for excessive team killing. I believe ATEXAN&HISGUN can vouch for my behavior during the game as he was the commander at the time. Cloudfish was on my squad as well. :8

Admins on TTP are chosen for stability and maturity. Any admin that kicked/banned a player for playing well would be removed from their position rather swiftly.

Automatic bans occur if players do build up enough teamkills and if memory serves me correctly, the teamkilling bans will be removed once the server is reset.

If that is not the case, you may want to go to this forum: http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?board=17.0 and post in the correct format to get your unban case underway. Considering your patience here, I would imagine this would be a relatively smooth process.

ping might also be a possibility. I've been kicked before for exceptionally high ping (i left torrent on by accident :-X) and i received a that message. Its more of a catch all than anything specific.

You were removed by an Admin or an Autokick.... It doesn't matter if it was at the beginning of a round, middle of a round, or at the end of a round.

This is not admin abuse. You may not like the timing of when you were removed, you may not like getting removed, but it is hardly a case of an abusive admin, because you didn't like the timing.
