COD4
I play COD4 a lot. Tried the TTP Server for the first time. I read the rules here first.
I understand there is an objective. A person can only do so much to pursue it. The admin constantly yelling to follow the objective is not the way the game is meant to be played.
I was carrying my team, planted and defended the only bomb that exploded.
I had over 150 kills..and I know points are not all that matters but that should show some as to what kind of help I was giving the bomb carrier.
Round before that someone yelling don't kill me go to the objective in HQ. Sorry when my team has the HQ I don't sit patiently waiting for the bad guys to come get me off the HQ. I try to cover the entrances that might lead to the HQ.
The game is very fast paced I can't instantly turn around and grab the bomb when I am trying to defend my teammate from the front and dont even know he is dead.
It goes too far when I am constantly worried about me doing my share. Every second I cannot do everything.
I understand that people camp and they don't try at all to help, but the rest of us that do play as a team should not suffer.
If I am doing well in the server should I be a target for the admins and even players to find one small defect in my playing style?
Seems a little out of hand.

Re: COD4
Who are you referring to? What Admin? How do you know this was not a player?
Your complaint has been noted, however there is much more information needed.

Re: COD4
It is a general notation I wanted to put forward. I know it was an admin because it was console at one point giving instructions on what to do. It was also players at one point.

Do you have a screen shot of the player list at the time of the specific match you mentioned or a time and date? This would be very helpful.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Re: COD4
knigstemplar the admins aren't mind readers and the first step to being a teamplayer is learning how to communicate.  If you don't have a mic, get one, if you do have one, start using it.  The most sure way to avoid a warning, kick, ban is to talk with your teamates and tell them what you are doing.  If your laying covering fire that's cool just let people know.  Admins are almost always on both teams and punishments are coordinated before they are dished out.
As for the warnings what would you have admins do if not warn?  Kick/ban without any warnings at all?  The admins here try to educate players new to TTP because there aren't alot of communities like it that don't allow KDR whores to do whatever they want.  Warnings, kicks, bans are ways of teaching people who are new to TTP what we are all about and how the game is supposed to be played.  If your complaint is that the admins are paying too close attention to the players in game and scrutinizing their play then I think they are doing a great job, because that is what they are supposed to do.

If you were warned by console, then take it at that....a warning. Coming in here starting an abuse thread just makes you look like a malicious punk. Is that what you are? An admin hater and whiner?

Re: COD4
I have a mic, I was using it constantly.
I was being a team player.
The reason I posted this is because I was warned once by console for not following the objective. It was frustrating because there was nothing more I could do.
I was then told by a teammate to follow the objective...again I was doing all I could do.
I then posted here, and rejoined the server and again a teammate yelled at me for not helping get the objective.
It is a very fast paced game and it may look like someone is not following the objective.
Someone spectating or watching on kill cam may not see everything as it is seen from my perspective. They would have to be some what of a mind reader to know what my purpose for doing things would be at many times.
The main point of the post is I was playing as a team and still was told multiple times to follow the objective.
It is very frustrating to be doing everything you can and then be warned, because I know with enough warnings will come a kick. I don't like being kicked.
If someone is blatantly camping...I can understand the warnings but from my gameplay it was nothing close to camping.
I had the most kills by over 100 kills, I had the most objective capture points as well. How much more can a person do? I said it seemed like I was being picked on because with that many kills and team assist points how can you accuse someone of not following an objective? That makes it seem like the players that are regulars, and the admins are being very picky.

If you were using your mike, were you communicating your intentions to your team mates since they can't be mind readers or were you assuming that they should know your intentions innately?
