IMO, I don't think an awp vote should be used period. I think the losing team should be able to do whatever it is necessary to win, legitimately obviously. There are admins on 90% of the time, If someone from the winning team is awping they should be warned. If they dont abide, simply slay/kick/ban as required. But thats just my 2 cents. Its not my server, nor would I tell someone how to run theirs.

obviously you didnt read the whole thing.

FOR THE LAST TIME! IT is not a TTP rule that there is no awping on a winning team. If you do not believe me check out the server rules in the CSS forum, you will find no such rule.

this is an admin abuse thread.

so the complaint is towards who?

the conversation should be between the person who started this thread, the admins and anyone specifically involved.

so lets keep the chatter down.

Didn't even notice it was in the abuse forum. I could have sworn I saw this in the CSS forum. My bad.

i think this is an overall admin misuse of the awp vote thread, so i am sure all that have posted have been a witness to this.

Ha, I thought the exact same thing. Maybe this should be moved to the CS public?

Well, the initial post was about admins putting up votes when a player felt they were unwarranted, so it will most likely stay here. Although I feel this debate has been kept quite civil and mature, it will most likely not be moved to the CSS forum.

this is the way I was viewing the thread. It seemed to me that more than 1 player had a complaint about how the awp vote was being used.

If 19 of the 20 people want to keep the AWP, but just press 1 to get rid of a vote then that is their own damn fault.
i think that's just it, i think some people just press 1 to make the vote go away, it sounds stupid, but i've watched people (in real life) just press 1 to get the shit of thier screen.

if we switched one and two around, you'd be amazed at the results :P

I was on T side on aztec once, we were down by 4 and i wanted to buy and awp to take out some ct's who kept picking us from water, no awps had been used yet during the entire match, and yet a vote goes up 3 seconds into the round...pathetic
