About 9:20 PST, on Dust2 I was slain by an admin.

The original call was slow play. We then tried to push up long a and got creamed so with 3 of us left, I called out to head back through dd to b. The other two got picked off en route from mid. I was at the top of ramp in back of T spawn, (where awpers pick dd) I stopped and shot a ct then took a few steps towards b and was slain. The admin's comment after the slay was "do the objective".

After explaining to the admin what we had been doing, I asked what I did wrong. Over a period of roughly 10 minutes and many inquiries in general and admin chat, I got a response saying "You ran out of time and failed the objective". This is a flat out lie. There was plenty of time left in the round, roughly a minute. I made a call and was en route to plant.

I do not know who the admin was, but commander was there on the CT side. Maybe he knows.

I was not there, but I can see how you would be upset in this particular scenario (if you are accurate in your assesment). It is very possible that the admin who slayed you did not know the circumstances surrounding your motives, so we will see if we can shed some light on this issue. I will forward this to your slaying admin and see if we can get some answers for you.

Everything you state is pretty accurate. It was an Extremely slow play. Several rounds before you had T's hanging around in Tspawn area, but this time, yall hung back a little too long.

I was dead and was watching you. You rotated back from long A double doors and went back through T spawn and working your way to B. By the time you hopped down off of the overlook at just outside T spawn 30yards back from the B tunnels entry, it was 17 seconds left on the timer. Not enough time to get there and get the bomb planted and get the objective accomplished, hence why you were slayed.

Had this been an isolated instance, that would have been overlooked, but like I said earlier, it was several rounds before this incidence that added up to the slay.

23 seconds left when you left T spawn and 17 seconds left when the slay occurred.

Also, we do not discuss things in game, we bring them to the forums.

When you ask why you were slayed, I responded to you with an answer, but that is as far as I go with it, in game.

Glad you brought it to the forums. I also see you have only 4 post, but glad to see that you took the time to register and see what we are about here. Would like to have seen a different scenario, other than one of your first post accusing an Admin of Admin abuse, but that is ok too.

Feel free to read up on the rules and regulations of our servers and the way we manage them, and that should also help you understand why you were slayed, as a warning.

So it seems that what you disagree on is the timer, for which either you lost track of time, or assumed you had more time than you did, because there were several of us watching the event unfold.

Being in T spawn, that late in the round though, doesn't bode to well for you either though.

So, get out of spawn, move toward the objective and get it accomplished or die trying.

Thanks for responding Commander. Just to be clear, I was NOT spawn camping for the sake of camping and farming kills. If the call is slow play, I WILL be in spawn until bomber or someone calls out our direction. It was a called slow play, and I had been watching B side. Someone said lets go long, I came back through T spawn to meet up with the guys by A, then the events described above unfolded.

What exactly was I being warned of? I had followed the call, then changed the call because we were getting creamed at long. I did not jump down the overlook to head mid or short. I was headed to b. Even assuming there was 17 seconds left, it takes roughly that to get into b from where I was and plant. Time issue regardless, (I still swear there was more time), I was attempting to win. Assuming I am incorrect on the time, you were going to ban me over this?

I posted here because the Abuse forum seemed to be where things like this get discussed, instead of the general forum or something.

Just an observation here, but I have not ever seen anyone slain before time ran out before if they were trying to win, which you should agree I was. I have seen time expire in different scenarios on the server and then burn for not getting bomb down or similar. Is this a new rule I was unaware of?

You were slain for not getting to the bomb and making an attempt at your objective. I didn't see how you were anywhere close to where you were supposed to be going to complete your obj and help the team.

I had speced you a few rounds before and noticed you diverting off of calls, let a few guys zip in front of you, and was personally getting ready to enlighten you on it and commander took care of it.

What got me though, was for the rest of the map and halfway through Inferno ( up untill you quit), was how you would not drop it. I was suprised that a ban didn't come across after you continued to pester the admins in ma_chat after you had gotten clarification as to what happend.

You have been around long enough to know these things are handled on the forums, and not in game. Admins have enough to deal with as it is, and don't need any additional pestering.

That being said, I think you are taking this slay a little too personal Sanchez. I've played quite a few rounds with you, and I have never had any issues/problems with you before. I hope this is not a new path you are taking, because we would be losing a good player in my eyes.

Take a step back and just think it over for a few.


Plain and simple, no abuse here.

As long as I have been playing here, I have seen slays get handed out to people that did not complete an obj.

Now, that is admin discretion however so It depends on which admin is currently playing. Some will warn/kick/ban It is up to the admin at the time.

Really, a slay is a "Hey man, wake up" Rather than resorting directly to the ban.

I never said that you jumped down the overlook and headed to mid or short, I said you headed to B tunnels when you jumped down off the overlook. Quote below.

Also, I never said I was going to ban you, I did however send you a warning to get your attention.

If you lost track of the timer, so be it, You were warned about it. Not sure why this was happening, but getting out of spawn and getting to the objective point is the name of the game. If this is isolated, then no big deal, we move on. If a pattern of this type of play is habitual, then it is a problem.

So take it for what it is worth and don't let the appearance of this display continue and it won't be an issue.

So do we need to continue this further or do we go back to the game server and have a blast?

Boze - If you are saying I'm one of those chickenshit fuckers who rushes part way and stops so someone else with nuts has to take the lead out DD or whatever, then I'm calling you a god damn liar. I wanted further clarification so I brought it here, hence the original post. Your opinion on that is irrelevant. You were on CT, so you can't hear our voice chat, so your comment on where I should/should not be is worthless.

In one post you go from me playing chickenshit CS to never having had a problem with me, and then passing judgement like your an admin or mod. There is a handful of non-admin players who remind people about following calls, bhopping, or whatever in game. Unless you change your name on CS:S, you're not one of them so spare us that bs.

If you feel you need to post as a witness, then post what you saw and leave out the opinionated bullshit.
