Slayed???
Earlier tonight at around 11:30ish, I was slayed for what I feel was inequitable. Map was D2, I was T side, and we were up about 7-1. A non-regular by the name S??A|«ABSOLUTE » was awping on our team for quite a few rounds now. I know that isn't necessarily against the rules, but is frowned upon. I tried letting him know that several times but it just wasn't getting through. I didn't feel an awp vote was necessary because I didn't want one guy on our side to ruin it for the cts. So the next round this absolute kid spawns with the bomb, and continues to awp and pick mid while everyone goes A. So I was in his face trying to get him to drop the bomb. Next thing I know I got slayed for blocking, but the awper picking mid with the bomb did not.
I'm not 100% who the admin was so I'm not going to start pointing any fingers. I'm not here to start shit or cause any problems, I would just like a justified answer. If I am in the wrong here I will gladly accept my punishment and walk the other way. But as of this moment I feel it was unjust, and would like to hear some other inputs. Thank you.

Re: Slayed???
I was the admin in question.
You weren't just telling him that awping on the winning team is unacceptable. You were standing in his way, blocking his movement, shooting him with your glock and bumping him to spoil his shots. You did this for the better part of two rounds. You were straight up griefing him until I slayed you.
That is absolutely unacceptable behavior for a reg. If you thought that this guy wasn't following the call then you tell the admins, not take matters into your own hands.
You are not the sheriff on the servers. You need to let the admins do their jobs.

Re: Slayed???
I obviously wouldn't have "blocked" him for no reason. If it was for shits and giggles I could see how it would be "unacceptable behavior". It was because he was not following the call for the better part of two rounds, awping mid with the bomb. I understand and accept the fact I am not the "sheriff" of the servers, because if I was it would have been his ass getting slayed and not the person trying to get the bomb to accomplish the objective.

Re: Slayed???
I don't care if you had what you thought was a 'reason' for griefing him. You had options, either call for an AWP vote, or tell the admins that this guy wasn't following the call. You didn't have the right to harass and grief this guy. That is totally unacceptable behavior for a server regular.

OK, so theoretically speaking if I have the bomb, I can awp mid and wait for my team to take the site over before I need to make my way there?

You do not have the option to block the guy into the archway alley and get up in his face shooting him with your glock and bumping him so that he can't move forward.
You displayed behavior that was frankly, disgusting to see coming from a server regular.

Re: Slayed???
This isn't about if he was pushing the bomb or not. If he wasn't then you could either tell him to move his as over VOIP (which you didn't) or tell an admin.
Instead you choose to be an immature asshole of a player by griefing him. This was after griefing him the previous round by ruining his shots and not allowing him to defend the planted bomb.
How the hell is that teamplay?
