[CSS] Banned for not being a teamplayer?

I have played Counter-Strike for a rather extensive amount of time and I participate on scrimmages, matches, and other shows of skill in this video game. I am known to be a team player and I have ties to some world top gamers. I say this not to brag, but to establish the perspective from which I play. Therefore, there are some tactics I wish to use that no not involve me cohering to a unit.

Today, on de_season, I was playing with the handle "dont cuss im 9yo and christian", and on two separate rounds I was punished for no apparent reason, only to be told AFTERWARDS a vague reason for my punishment.

The first time, it was a slay. No big deal. I was a T, the bomb was planted, I heard CT footsteps around me, I wasn't going to run away if I knew a CT would be coming around the corner I was watching. I was kind of peeved.

The second time, I was banned.

I can only assume the reason was that I was the only one on my team alone in an area. Knowing this, my entire team rushed site B. I was holding down one pathway that could be used if CTs decided they wanted to route behind, go through T-spawn, and get to the bombsite to surprise the now defending T side. I only heard silence. I was preparing to turn around and get to the bombsite and then I was kicked with this message.

I post this thread with a handful of purposes.
1) To see if I can become unbanned.
2) To get some clarity on what would be considered 'teamplay', and what would not be considered 'teamplay'.
3) To ask which admin did this and to question his logic in applying this action to me.

I didn't see it fit to put this into the unbanning request forum because that is not the only thing I am asking about.

I was the admin that banned you. Twice during a B rush, amongst your team asking you to come help them at B, you decided to camp out over at A in hopes of picking off one or two CT's who might be rotating that direction. You had no intention of helping your team, rather you sold them out so that you could get a few easy kills.

On top of that, rather than learning from the slay, the text warning, AND your team telling you to follow the call, you did it again and you were banned. Does this sound about right?

Was on during on this and can say that he was not following the calls, and seemed to make no attempt to help his team. From my view there was no abuse here, just another non-teamplayer getting taken care of.

I did NOT hear any calls whatsoever. I have voice_enable at 0, however. Were they trying to communicate to me on voice?

Things like that need to be considered.

That is your problem then, not ours. If you want to play here, everybody is expected to communicate and work together. Voice_enable 0 is the anti-thesis to teamplay. If you still wish to play here, I would suggest putting in an unban request. Otherwise, there is no abuse here.

This only happens when those same people are running the servers, however that crap doesn't happen here...ever. But whatever your choice.

This is a team play server. Most people can't get by without having a mic. No one can get by with having no sound. If you want to play on our servers you will enable sound and you will follow the call. You can either move along or you can submit an unban request.

No abuse present.
