do as i say, not as i do
blown away by the 'do as i say, not as i do' mentality of the admins here.
i've been banned for not promptly following commander's orders. yet when i point out someone is not following MY orders (ie they are saying 'no sir' within 2 seconds of me telling them to attack a flag), I get kicked with the message 'if you ever question my decision making again you'll be...' couldn't see the rest of the msg
I didn't question anyone's authority or decision making...I pointed out someone wasn't following orders. And I was kicked. Can I just get an explanation (other than 'its our server') as to why it's ok to flaunt the rules if you are an admin, but then insta-ban anyone else not following those same rules?

Oh and by the way, my favorite part.....when I say something about it in game its always 'Bring it to the forums!!!' (obviously bc im complaining about admin's buddy)....but if anyone says anything about a player like myself (non-admin) I'll be insta-kicked.

"Bring it to the forums" is so that there can be a discussion here, not in game while people are trying to command, cap flags, etc. This, right here, is the place to bring it to if there is a complaint about admining (as you have done). Your snide remarks, however, won't get you taken very seriously. Be rational, be specific, be honest, be as complete as you can with the details. This is the way to be heard.

Re: do as i say, not as i do
I know why I am supposed to 'bring it to the forums'. My point is this: If someone is complaining about the actions of an Admin or Admin's buddy, the procedure is 'bring it to the forums'....(the admin that said that even said 'lol' afterwards, because he knew this basically translated to "he's my buddy and I'm gonna ignore you". ) But if someone complains about ME in game.....I'll be kicked/banned without hesitation. That is hypocrisy and abuse of admin powers. If you guys don't think so, then I apologize for starting this thread. And I apologize for making snide remarks....it's hard to stay calm when people are abusing their power at your expense.

Since when did people who don't have a clue what the hell went on have a reason for getting involved and making a mess into a clusterphuck?? If you weren't a direct witness to the events then please stay out of it. All you do it make a situation worse.****************11B*************** Look for Pathfinder75thB in TeamSpeak! ***************11B*****************

Re: do as i say, not as i do
I was on TPG bf2 server......the admin was one of the SST guys, but I was kicked before I saw which one. The person that refused to follow orders was wax az grandmasterguess....same person that flew off the handle and called me 'faggot' at least 20 times because I hit the 'rebuke squad' button a couple weeks ago.
no, i wasn't trying to get him kicked for that...i just wanted him to follow my orders. and not only was he not following them, he would immediately say no to every order, then claim that i refused to drop him vehicle and supplies (blatant lie).
