Admin Harassment

I was playing on the CS:S server trying to get my game back and actually be a productive teamplayer again on CS:S

The map was cpl Mill the call was split A

The players on my team got totally rocked and dropped the bomb.... I unknowingly picked it up... I thought I did not have the bomb so I continued killing CT's in mid.. One of my teammates called my name at the heat of the battle telling me I have the bomb a split second later I was killed and found out I had the bomb. Yes I was embarrassed about the stupid mistake... But then Mafia and his clan partner calls me out and totally harasses me for making a common error... Calling me all sorts of names on voice chat..I kept my mouth shut till the end of the next map and apologized to them.. though I felt it was not accepted because I was still being harrassed and made fun of..

My complaint is Mafia takes the game way too seriously and thinks its a professional e sport server... With one small mistake I feel I have to take the harrassment and can't say anything because I will be banned by him for disrespecting an admin...

I've recently avoided CS:S because some players think they can kick dirt in players face who are from other games in the tpg community.

I had no intention for that error I made today but I feel what was said to me just crossed the line....

I want to go to TPG CS:S to enjoy the game and abide by the rules...

I wish that admins on CS:S can ease up on the trash talking on there own teammates on common mistakes...Yes mistakes happen but I do not like how admins can use there power to harass players and expect nothing said back to them in return..

If Mafia wasn't speaking to you as an admin when he said these things, it isn't admin abuse.

Yeah, I've had the bomb before, unknowingly. It happens.

I dont play css but i feel i have a point that may be relivant. First off i agree if it wasn't said as an admin it cant be admin abuse. Lastly shouldnt someone have chimed in to tell every to take it the forums verses disrupting the game? This is done religiously in bf2 to keep things from getting out of hand.

Hey man, i was there during those comments even though they were not needed. Keep your head up. You know you didnt so anything wrong just ignore the remarks and have fun.

Well when I played on CS:S that very night I found myself in that same situation....Though the outcome after the accident was more forgiving... the admin on there who I apologized to that night said yeah it happens.. That made the situation more easier to handle and to overcome... I like admins who actually know that common mistakes happen and actually don't say stupid things like check your screen and make that person feel like a complete dumbass....

before I will let this go I want to see what the admin who committed it has to say...

Stop saying Admin. This is not an Admin issue. This is a player issue, you have with another player.

I'll also add this, I'd caution you as to calling out admins in-game, whether it be via chat or mic. That can get you banned.

There is no Admin abuse here. If you have a problem with the player - deal with it in a PM.

Thank you for reopening this thread... I have felt that I missed what my key problem with Mafia harrassment....

While the map was progressing a player named Biscuit came over to T side to even the side up... But asked a question that should permit a kick that broke key rule that admins should remain anonymous. Biscuit asked Mafia the question what was wrong with our team.... Mafia answered in jokingly displeasure in the lines that he is ready to ban half the team because of poor playing.....

From what someone has told me admins should never claim or jokingly claim they are ready to ban players in voice or text chat.. but only in Admin channel and or in the forums...

That is why I felt harassed the last round because I felt threaten by what he meant by banning half of the team for poor playing and judgment...

After the threat made by mafia all of T's did step there game up..But I felt the treat to ban half the players was unnecessary because no one was breaking the call or breaking any tpg CS:S rules
