No drama here. just speaking my mind and having a discussion with yall.

I will leave my opinions and post to myself I guess. I'm too old for drama and I leave all that for the women in my life. I come here just to have fun. I understand completely your rules and guidlines as we all have them in the businesses we run as well.

I think you guys run a pretty tight server and I'm sure it took a while to get there.

I have explained the situation in the mod forum. It is my fault. The frustration was caused by me. I apologized there and now am apologizing here. I checked the rules and other relevant threads and saw no actual change. I pushed the group forward as I thought it would be a good idea to both help TTP and the individual members of KF1.

No malice was intended. The frustration is reasonable, the other individuals had no idea of any potential change in the rules for residency. If they are frustrated it is my fault. No one is anti-TTP or not a team-player. The individual members of KF1 are all well know regulars in game and I wanted to encourage more participation here in the forums. That's it.

Again, to all involved, my apologies. I was trying to do what I thought was best for both TTP and KF1 and have failed miserably.

I don't think that anyone here means to imply, or even seem intolerant of your rules; The reasons for your post requirement are completely understandable and no one here bears any ill-will to them. These are your servers, your rules, your requirements.

Bigdog: Again, understandable. I've known some of the clans you've kicked and banned, and there's a reason why we avoided them and we're in KF1. In a similar vein KF1 has taken some 6 months of playing on TTP to finally decide to apply for residency; it was not some minor decision or just a sudden whim.

I've run forums in the past and appreciate the hassle of configuring all the permissions, and the general headaches of forums in general, in addition to providing it all for free; Please don't assume that it's being taken for granted - again, it's understood that it's your servers, your rules, your requirements.

Ranger: So far as drama goes, I sure as hell hope not. I've had enough fill of that from what has happened here today to last me years, and I'd expect the same from everyone else in the group.

As mentioned before, we've all been playing on TTP for months and this decision took quite a while to come to, and even up to the time we posted, we were under the impression of the 10 post minimum for each player. It rattled a few people that we were denied since it took us a while to meet what we thought were the requirements for residency, and there was some misunderstanding as to why this was (until clarified here). There's no justification for the person's thoughtless actions which have ended up setting this whole situation aflame, but I hope that this can still be resolved amicably.

OK - from my perspective - we leave the application as is. The group will either make the requirements over time and be granted resident clan status, or not, and then the status quo stays as it is and the members of KF1 continue to play on the TTP servers as currently occurs. This is my opinion and not necessarily that of the group as a whole (the truth, but said tongue in cheek).

Ira - don't beat yourself up - there is no blame for anyone.

I would like to clarify this whole mess. I sent this message believing it was private and for my friends of KF1. Seems I made a mistake. But I made an even bigger mistake by sending an apology and I retract that apology. Before I go any further, I would like to officially sever my ties to the KF1 name and all other persons who hold that tag, this transcription is from me alone.

I will be removing myself from KF1 effective immediately. Further, I will not be frequenting the website any further, please remove my profile from the site, or, if I must, I will do it myself.

If I am to be banned from the server, that is fine. If not, I will not be wearing the KF1 tag, nor associated with any other clan for that matter.

I don't have time for this communism disguised as "socialism". I know that Iravedic, TGross, Bryn and perhaps a few other have a lot bearing on this site, the "community" and the clan residency, but I don't and I don't know what it is.

I don't have anything left to say.

Very childish of you Security. I would have thought you were someone of a great deal more integrity. I guess I was wrong.

However... this "Socialist" regime did it's work effectively didn't it? We got rid of someone that we didn't want in the first place, so the system works, regardless of your biased opinions on the matter.

this is not a forum. This is a resident clan request. This is you asking us to provide a service for you. Resident clans get match server access, for free. Resident clans get moderation influence, admin positions, and subsequent reserved slots, voting powers, and TTP influence, for free. Resident clans get to play and live on TTP property, conveying the message that they ARE what TTP expects people to be and play like.

You can speak your minds about whatever you want. Again, it's disappointing ira, tgross, and others aren't in here, explaining the situation going on in the private site moderator forums (where clan leaders, admins, and administrators have a common forum about site related issues, such as clan residency requirements).

Weeks ago, a vote ended to modify the clan rules. given the recent catastrophe's to our game servers, migrations, remigrations, stats update issues, downtime, and other assorted items......the changes went forgotten, and the post slipped off of peopel's minds.

When I saw your resident request, and began to take the time to individually check EACH profile you had listed in the request, I only found 3 with any decent amount of posts. I went to verify/quote the requirements, where I found the resident sticky was not updated.

That was a mistake on our part. And yes, in fairness, you could say "but the rules were changed after we already applied". And in fairness, I could say "yeah, but the rules were changed BEFORE your vote for approval was submitted to the site mods".

So which one of us is right?

I say, 100 posts is nothing. Anyone who reads a few topics here and there can find something to say, people to interact with, topics to start, or threads to bump. There's a few other reasons we need more posts, but that has to do with tracking and security....yet again, things we learned from the past.

And, as a suggestion....keep the "I don't have time..." bullshit to yourself. If you don't have time to type shit in a forum.....then how much time do you think I have to do all of the things required to make KF1 a resident clan? Would you like me, ranger, sjt, or any of the other major figures here to put our resumes, education, family history, # of children, age, and salary out here to justify that we ALSO have better shit to do other than screw around in the forums?

If we had your attitude.....would we be here right now? Would TTP? You think this stuff happens from the efforts of a bunch of unemployed 12 year olds and daddy's money? Are you serious...or just rude?

As for dealing with individual's seperately, that's one thing in the resident clan applications we can call you out on.

No member of the application can have any beefs with TTP. OP-security obviously has a beef. And you are well on your way.

Take my advice, and let ira, gross, and bryn deal with this. Most especially ira and gross.
