    Problem with Reserve Slot

Hi admins. I would post this in the Reservist forum, but it does not appear in my list of forums to choose from.

My slot expired earlier this week, so I tried to renew it last night. I tried to join a server today and it kicked me because I do not have a reserve slot. I checked the donations page and it does not recognize my purchase. I did receive an email from PayPal saying that payment went through and was accepted by TTP.

If there is any more information I need to give for someone to help me, please ask.

    Re: Problem with Reserve Slot

I have no earthly idea. I wish I knew what would make it work successully so that I could continue playing on the TF2 servers without a problem.

    Edit:
Should I post step-for-step the exact process I take to make a payment as well as all software that is being used while the payment takes place? If someone wants to talk about it over Steam friends or AIM, just PM me and I will send you my info.

I hate having to ask someone to get this to work so I want to solve this problem as soon as possible.

    Edit two, jungle boogaloo:
I am current working with Bunni to see if we can narrow down the issue.

yes. screenshots and all. paypal did receive your payments, with the associated emails....but for some reason...it's not hooking in with treasury/vault, which is TTP's connection from paypal to the reservist system.

That's something on our end, I'm assuming. But, again, go ahead and CANCEL all your existing subscriptions to TTP. And then, sign up again, screenshotting every part of the process. you can block out the email and login/numbers since there's no reason to show that stuff to people here. But, we need to know your method of payment, and all the boxes and blanks you're checking or not checking.

Sorry for the trouble, and OF COURSE, you're going to be credited with every $ you put in. And for your trouble, twice the time you've paid for.

I also created a .doc file, if you want to use that as reference. Grab it here.

Edit: I just checked the status in my Donations tab, and it hasn't registered as my payment going through.

    Re: Problem with Reserve Slot

    odd.

perhaps it's because you have the payment method set as your CC, rather than your paypal balance? Of course, it says further down that future payments will be deducted from your paypal balance, with your CC used only to back it up if paypal doesn't have the cash. That's it normally works (and how I use it as well).

    hm.

while we work on this, I will set you up for 4 months of reserved slot to cover the 2 payments you made to us already (right?) as stated above.

we'll work on this....and hopefully it won't be the same problem, again, when you renew in 4 months.

but of course...that's what we said last time, right? Thanks for your patience.
