Survival Mode had a Barrage card(a type of grenade launcher) and Ion Torpedo card (a rocket launcher of some sort). I'm guessing those will be unlockable in multiplayer as well, which alone should drastically change Hoth's Walker Assault's game play. Who knows what other goodies we'll get. Anti-Air?

They're talking about rebalancing the game due to the beta. I'm just not sure why, as the max rank attainable was just 5, with only a hand full of star cards available. Who know's how many cards there'll be, but I'm guessing they'll have to rebalance the game again as soon as players reach max rank.

Very meh for me. Very impressive graphics but the gameplay is reminescent of Quake/Unreal... No strategy, no teamwork; just shoot while you're alive and Bunnyhop (jetpack...) all the time....
IMHO

Definitely not a tactical shooter, but they never meant it to be. What it does accomplish is some fun while playing with friends. Add all talk to our TeamSpeak and we'll have an opportunity to get some new blood in here, while taking some jabs at our old friends.

Our Imperialistic ways will be the death of us. It's Star Wars, Rebel for once and play Solo.

It's like they are going out of their way, and doing everything they can to make sure they fuck this up. Only EA can take an established and successful game series, marry it to the most successful movie series of all time, and still find ways to make sure it fails.

No squad system.....check
No hosted servers......check
No VOIP in a game sold on its teamplay......check.

And I was worried that Disney would fuck up Star Wars.....lol.

The movie isn't released yet....they can still surely fuck it up.....lol.

I was very close to buying this game too.

Dice clearly stated months ago, that this was not a battlefield game nor was it meant for hardcore battlefield fans. It's targeted towards teens.

Oh I'm not saying that Disney won't ruin the series, I'm just saying that EA is trying to set the bar as high as possible. If Disney wants to keep up, they will need to do something drastic. Maybe have Bill Cosby as the next Yoda or some such. Either way, EA is coming out of the fail gate really strong.

Ok, but how can you have no VOIP in a team game? It's laughable. CS had VOIP in 2002....2002
