Which only means one of two things.
1. They knew it was going to be full of suck months ago and were already focusing on damage control/spin/sales hype bs. Why they would deconstruct features of the FB Engine that already work (VOIP) just doesn't make an ounce of sense.

2. They are truly moronic, and don't see the WILD potential of marrying their most successful shooter ever to the most successful movie series ever. Most especially since on the game side of things there have been loads of cries for a 2142 redux/reinvent. They could have killed many birds with one stone, and have possibly had a game that made Madden look like an Indy title.

It is what it is, and that is a shame and an opportunity completely missed.

Two. Not several. BF3 and BC2. And both were failures. Between the two of them, they damn-near killed the series. If BF4 wasn't as good as it is, the BF Series would likely be dead.

Notice that the first thing that was fixed in BF4 was the VOIP.

Whether it is meant to be for BF players of not, why the Hell would they pull the most useful feature out of a game? I'm sure they won't be charging any less......

They don't need to sell new games to make money any more. Make a decent game, and sell DLC after DLC after DLC. If they actually pulled their heads out and made this as good as it could be, they could spend the next 3-4 years hitting us up for DLC purchases (cough BF4).

VOIP has always worked for me in BF4. It was BF3 that advertised it and never delivered. It's why we had the TS switcher deal, but dropped it as soon as BF4 was released.

Either way, if it was broken, it was fixed immediately. There is no history of VOIP working, and them leaving or taking it oit intentionally like they are doing here.

Who says they'll patch it in? The BF4 community had to bitch to high Heaven before they did it (patched it). VOIP in a team game, is a basic function and feature, in my opinion.
