It's kinda meh for me. I mean it's not terrible, but I can't see myself playing a lot of it. Definitely not a day one buy for me. Plus no server browser really kills any sense of community.

I think It is SUPER pretty.

However, what is available to try isn't very deep, and the card system & power ups constantly break immersion for me.

Are there going to be more diverse weapons and weapon types? Where's the grenade launchers, bow casters, etc?

Also when you reach max rank in the beta, it tells you there will be more weapons and unlocks.

That aside, all I have been able to find is a short list of blasters that seem to all fit the same roles already in the game, such as AR, LMG, pistol. Not a whole lot of variety as opposed to previous battlefront games. That combined with snipers seemingly being tied to cards and rocket launchers as power-ups has me worried.

It's brief, but it struck me as a thoughtful impression of the game.

If anyone knows of reviews that are as-thoughtful, but more in-depth, please post links.
