    None of the flare guns say anything about crits on burning enemies, but we have the Flare Gun with full crits, the Detonator with mini-crits, and the Manmelter with no crits.

    I'm still guessing no crits until we see otherwise.

    The regular flare gun full crits? I thought it was a mini as well?

    Regular gun is 90 damage on burning enemies. I think thats full...

    It full crits. If it didn't it would have no advantage over the detonator.

    The flare gun update history is a long tale of trying to fix a useless weapon.

    June 19, 2008 Patch: Flare gun released. It does 20 damage (no rampup or falloff) and lights the target on fire.
    February 2, 2009 Patch: Flare gun now does 30 damage.
    June 8, 2009 Patch: Flare gun now mini-crits burning enemies.
    May 19, 2010 Patch: Flare gun now full crits burning enemies at long range.
    April 14, 2011 Patch: Flare gun now full crits all burning enemies.

    It's now a near perfect sidegrade to the shotgun. It only took three years. :P

    Oh man that was great. So twisted.

    But on the flare gun, the reason it needed so many buffs is cause its hard to aim. Projectile is slow and small and takes a long time to reload. It isnt super easy to repeatedly hit targets. Good pyros are a pain in the ass with those things.

    It's much more the fact that it was shit. 20 damage with a very low RoF is pathetic, and afterburn has always sucked and just gotten worse over time. The full crits mean that it can at least come close to shotgun DPS in close range on burning enemies. Yeah it's somewhat difficult to aim, but it's not that bad, and the shotgun isn't that easy to aim well either (don't believe me? How many people could actually use the original Widowmaker? If you could aim well, it was perfectly balanced)

    And still only two decent Medi Guns for the Medic, the stock and Kritzkrieg (the Q-F is a PoS).
