Thread: Good TF2 Servers?

Hey guys,

I've kinda been playing again, but I can't find any quality server with quality players. 3 scouts and 3 pyros on a team of 10 isn't my idea of a good team comp.

Does anybody have any recommendations for servers to play on?


Ideally not all-talk, stock respawn times, etc....

My best advice, while we try to rehabilitate the TPG TF2 server, is to look for TPGers in Steam and friend them.

There are a fair number who still play TF2 regularly, and I got back into it by waiting until Steam showed them in a game and then joining that game. I collected more TPG friends, and whenever we'd wind up playing on a good (ie: team-play oriented) indy server I'd add that to my favourites.

We've also had some decent games just by joining a valve server.

There's a Texas...TeamPlayers...TF2 group you can join, and that may help get you started finding old vets.

someone is working on getting the rotation changed to something more than just payload.

and vote maps? Is that still going to be possible way too early?

If I know what I am doing, and that is highly doubtful, then there should be a full, or near full, rotation of maps. Please verify. Thanks.

It's Source, so it shouldn't be bad. Maybe I'll install. Just have to avoid burning out on it again. Playing from noon to midnight isn't healthy.

I'll try and help prime, I'd love to see TF2 back in action at TPG.
