Anyone else having trouble with Fort2 map?

Man, i'm having bad trouble with that map. Its like i lag out but my ping never changes, screen freezes, and the voice is looped. It only happenes on this map and also sometime when i play the medic, my textures get all f*ed up when I pull out the needle gun but correct themself when i switch back to the healer.

Anyone got any ideas of what this could be? I went and updated all my drives on the computer, but I haven't been back to that map yet.

Lower settings a bit. 2fort is probably the most graphic-intensive map, for whatever reason.

I did that the other night, and it seems to be working fine now.

Yeah, I think it's all the water. Make sure that you turn the reflection settings down, and turn Antialiasing and Texture filtering down - those two settings are really hard on your framerate.

also the sky boxes are huge in TF2. this only adds to the problem.

I never had a problem on that map until tonight. For some reason my fps was in the 20s and bouncing like crazy up into the 40s and back down. So I just quit.
