Thread: But... I Broke TWO Records!

Last night, after I signed off the TTP server and got a snack, I decided I still had energy for another round or two, and since the server was full, I got onto another one. I then proceeded to inflict a substantial ass-kicking on the other team (which was apparently lacking in skilled players). Between joining the game and the first time I died, I dominated... not sure how many opponents, but it was more than my previous best... and got 16 kills. When they finally got their act together and took me down, though, only the little dialog box mentioning the new domination record was displayed, and a look at my stats afterwards still showed my 'most kills' as 9. I also noticed that my 'most assists' was not 7 as a Heavy like I was told after a match earlier that night and was shown on my stats for a few hours, but still 5 as a Medic. This is both puzzling and frustrating. :5

Has anyone else had a problem with new records either not registering, or registering and then being reverted to the previous best? Is it because I broke two records in one round, or something?

My first guess is that it just hasn't updated. Either that or it just didn't register it for you..

The pscyhostats are funny too... in the past week my "kill streak" has decreased (impossible) and my "death streak" has fluctuated down, and then up higher than I believe is true. Oh well, the game is still fun.

Psychostats are different than the in game ranking system based off of points.

It happens. I got 9 kills with a sentry gun, and it still says my max is something like 2.

It's not that great of a system, and sometimes it just ignores accomplishments.

The stats are per life. You died somewhere in between those 9 kills.

Nope. I didn't.

It just missed them. There's a couple others, but I've passed those by now.

Yep, when I died the scoreboard said 'Kills: 16' and &#39eaths:1'
