Re: Stop Joining?
Just select auto-join when spot is available, screw refresh.

Re: Stop Joining?
From what I have seen, I believe if someone spams the join server button enough they will actually get a non-reservist to disconnect. I have seen this work at least once. I know someone was joining at 22/24 over and over and then saw someone get kicked for a reserved slot. No one else was loading in but the person who kept trying to join. Not sure if this was a fluke but I know I would not be impressed if I was the person kicked.
Also, on the spam issue I think it is disrupting and a bit arrogant for someone to think they don't have to wait patiently to get in and just hammer the server. I wish there was a better option for reserved slots that would allow a script to watch for slots below 22 but I haven't found one or got one working yet.
Also, on the issue of the refresh not updating properly, I have had that happen. It usually only happens when you are refreshing more than once per second and the connection limit for the server browser gets maxed out. I usually ask someone ingame how much time is left on the map and then try later or hit refresh every 5 seconds or so.

I wish that there was a way to see how much time there was left in a round from the server info page.
But if wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.

Re: Stop Joining?
Once again as anything revolving around reserved slots... Buy a reserved slot and it wont be an issue. Its five bucks. Skip out on one McDs run and you have yourself an almost guaranteed spot every time you want to play...

I agree with EvilRemix as well.
Also, as a Medic, join-spam is disruptive. People hit the medic button because its faster than voice usually, and with that comes a chat message giving me the name of the person who needs the medic. Join-spam can make this scroll off before i see it.
