Stop Joining?
Today, I tried to join the TF2 server. It was full as usual so I repeatedly tried to join. I do not have the option for a reserved slot so I have to wait for an empty slot.
I clicked quickly so when there was a slot open I would be the most likely to to get in.
While this was happening I get an Xfire message from AK99 telling me to stop joining. Now kinda ignored this and got in on my next try.
I get in and join the team with AK99 and Benandorf were on and I asked AK why he told me not to join. He responded "It was spamming the chat and I couldn't read what was being said." I told him that you should be using your mic anyways you don't need to use the chat.
Benandorf joined in and said essentially the same thing about it being spamming, and he told me I shouldn't be questioning them.
So I was told through admin chat not to spam join and I said no more.
My question is am I supposed to not try and join the server unless it is clearly has a open slot or can I carry on as I have been?

Re: Stop Joining?
Join if you want, but clicking over and over and over and over is extremely disruptive. Refresh the window and join when it says 21/24. Simple as that.
Admin Chat should have been used right away, admittedly, but the point still stands that you were being disruptive.

No, but the chat boxes are used for server messages and admin chat (to the public and otherwise).
It was disruptive enough to cause people to complain, so obviously it wasn't a little nothing.
