    New xbox 360

I saw the new one recently. Is this gonna give everyone the RROD as well? I had it three times and on my 4th xbox. I don't trust microsoft consoles no more.

The last revision of the motherboard fixed the RRoD problems (this motherboard was included in normal sized Xbox consoles). The slim models have fixed the problem as well.

So my last xbox repair was 2 or 3 months ago so does that mean mine has been fixed for good?

I still get the occasional freeze-up during game play but I immediately shut it off in fear of the RROD again. That's when it usually happens but nothing so far.

Find your motherboard revision there and you'll know. They probably replaced your motherboard with one of the newer revisions.

Mine freezes up from time to time as well but that seems normal from everyone I've talked to. Just keep the console in a (mostly) dust free environment and give it plenty of room to breath and you shouldn't have any problems. If your a smoker try to keep smoke away from it as well as that turns into some nasty dust once it gets inside the console.

I did a 2" suspension lift on my xbox to keep it well ventilated. I had some rough country shock bushings from my jeep laying around and they made perfect spacers. They are soft and absorb impacts from sudden anger outbursts or flying controllers hitting the tv surrounding area.
