Should I Check It Out?

From the trailers i've watched it seems like Enemy Territory except with more teamplay and communication...

ive been pretty interested in getting it, but cant really make up my mind...

any thoughts?

thanks for the link, answered most of my questions...

but if i get it how much will i need a reserve slot? cause on CS:S i dont need one... but from what i hear you cant get much more than 10 minutes in on TF2 without being kicked...

Very true, especially at prime time which is 4 in the afternoon to 1 or 2 in the morning.

If you want to play TF2 without a reserved slot, well... it's a fight to get in, and once you do you're more often than not kicked after a few minutes. It's well worth it for TF2, as well as pretty much any other game. Think about it... if you spend an extra 10 minutes every day waiting to connect to a game, that's about an hour every week you spend sitting on your ass counting how many times you can sing the anthem, or whatever it is you do for amusement. And for $5 a month (that's the cost of a rather subpar hamburger and fries at McDonald's), you can connect whenever you want, with no fear of getting booted.

- i totally would as it is just $5, but i dont due the whole cash over the internet thing, as i dont have a credit card, nor do i plan on getting one

and from what i understand reserve slots can only be purchased through pay-pal

If there is someone at TTP you trust, mail them the $15 bucks (reserved slots are a 3 month minimum commitment) and let them do the signup for you in your name.... I think that's allowed......?
