what are your favourite weapons
melee: baseball bat
Tier1 weapons: pump shotgun
Tier 2 weapon: M16

Melee: chainsaw
tier1: pump shotgun
tier2: Desert Rifle (3 round burst AR)

I also like the magnum =P

Melee: Machete
Tier 1: pump shotgun
Tier 2: SPAS

P.S. Not sure whether the Hunting Rifle is a tier 1 or 2, whichever category it's in, that would be my favorite. I've heard it's a tier 1, but I think it's the best gun in the game and it was a tier 2 in L4D1. Doesn't make sense for it to be a tier 1. :P

it was tier 2 in left 4 dead 1 but they changed it to a tier 1 weapon in left 4 dead 2 you can find one on the sign in the first level on dark carnival while most of the tier 2 weapons spawn in the second level

all about my mood. i usually use the shotgun but have opted for the uzi for early guns, pulling off head shots and the short bursts add a sort of cool change from the shot gun. the burst ar can not fucking remember the name, but the one tthat fires in bursts has been fun, can take a lot of head shots and still pack a good punch on the SI. SCAR thats it... still I like to RP my char to fit my weapon to what i think they would use.

Melee: machete
Tier 1: Silenced sub machine gun
Tier 2: Scar or Magnum

Secondary: Machete
Tier 1: Silenced SMG or if on vanilla the Chrome shotgun
Tier 2: Military Sniper
Special tier: Grenade launcher

As said before, it mainly depends on the mood I'm in, if I'm tired of sniping, I'll go for an assault rifle, if I'm tired of them I'll go to shotguns etc.
