Do the psychostats ever reset?

The pstats themselves should never reset unless there is need for them to be. Unless they somehow get corrupt or start to cause other problems, I don't see a reason that they'd be reset.

They get reset from time to time. But I honestly don't consider the psychostats for TF2 a good judge of skill since there are so many things that don't get counted.

The pstats on the page? Are you sure? Because I remember them saying they have the stats from several years ago on the CS servers. I know the ingame stats reset from time to time, but the pstats (the ones online on the left) didn't I thought.

Yeah, in-game stats are different than the psycho-stats. Ingame I'm ranked in the top 30 or 40 I think but in the pstats, who knows...

In a game like TF2 it is misleading to have stats that only count kills, it can be pretty discouraging for support players.

Pretty discouraging? I'd say it is very frustrating to look at my pstats for TF2 and see I have something like a 0.7 KDR (which is actually up from like .3 since I have been playing soldier and more assault classes more because we actually do have a decent number of good, intelligent medics on TTP) because I play medic more than anything and just rack up those support points and help the team. Its fun for me to be medic, but I don't like doing it all the time either.

Not saying KDR is everything, otherwise I wouldn't be here. But it's a nice little bonus to see how well I think I am doing in addition to helping the team and not just healing people or taking a few hundred deaths for the team.
