Maybe if we take the entire sentence and squeeze it to the width of 3 characters...

The "reason" of the kick is what is limited to 26 (maybe 28) characters.

When the player sees:
Kicked - Slot is reserved

"Slot is reserved" is what can be at most 26 characters

Sigh, "www.texasteamplayers.com" is 24 characters already....

The reason is because when you see the message, it's in a little Valve dialog box... and that dialog box doesn't wrap... so it cuts off anything longer than 26 characters. We tried manual newline characters, and that didn't work

What if we (as in the high admins) registered the domain name www.ttpgaming.com, and pointed it to the current site. It is only 17 characters, so you would have 11 for your message. Maybe?

most people click cancel before they read anything. I dont' see this as an issue.

It's probably also in the console, but what the player sees is the dialog box right before they hit cancel and join a new server.

I'm content with just saying "Slot is reserved". Short and sweet.
