I noticed a lot of people griping. I think you people fear change too much. Think of how versatile it makes the game to not know every in and out of the stock maps or weapons. I love it. I also noticed that a lot of people are mad at how unbalanced it makes the class. You have to think of the negatives along with all the positives of having these new weapons.

Good example is the flare gun. Great for long distance shots but now you have to be completely accurate and you have to give up your shotgun, which can get you out of MANY jams moreso than the flare gun. The backburner is nice... if someone has their back to you but think about how much you actually need crits in order to actually kill an unsuspecting enemy. Its not really like the pyro is going to be untouchable when he has all three new weapons.

The only advantage I see is that new damned needle gun... Stupid fn thing...

Milestone 2: Critical Hits unlock

So if this continues, they are not trying to deal too much with the main weapon of the class, though it will be interesting to see what they do with the demo.... M1 - Cool secondary that isn't necessary but makes life easier. M2 - Cool, but a lot less useful than the other unlocks. M3 - Icing on the cake, kinda useful, kinda cool.

I see your point, but I think there is much more of a tradeoff now. We will have to wait and see, but I doubt the flare gun does much damage, meaning that if someone gets away from you while on fire it would be tough to finish them off.

ALSO, I read somewhere that achievements will be unlocked at 15, 20, and 25... meaning no more farming for those really hard achievements.
