New TF2 Update 06-19-08

It definately was crazy like 4 pyros starting out and then admin warning people, craziness but i still had fun with the new pyro.

Oh and when you see an egnineer run up lite em and send him away with the air push, had some fun with this. I like the reflect demo and rockets hard to do but very rewarding. The flare gun is definately useful for snipers, easy to get snipers on turbine.

So I found out how these people already have all three weapons (*cough* Chuck Norris' Middle Leg *cough*) There are servers out there completely dedicated to getting achievements. Just a shitload of pyros lighting people up and helping each other get them. Whats the fun in that?

Somebody said it about the medics and it's true here too....if people want to whore achievements, I'd rather they do it on some grinding server than mess around on TTP and hinder the team.

I got like, 8 of the achievements real fast last night while playing normally and when I saw that I was just a couple away from an unlock, I went to a grinding server and got 2 more...now I dont have to worry about frying 50 heavies or killing 50 people from behind with the flame-thrower, and I have the worst unlock ever, the flare gun.

What a worthless piece of crap!

I could give a shit about the pyro or his new gear... the only thing of interest to me is hows the new CTF_Well. The only 2 updates im waiting for are the sniper and engineer... and even then not going to be all that interested. If they released all the updates at once i would be a lot more excited but this 1 by 1 shit is annoying.. causes problems... and in a sense.. unbalances the classes both in terms of numbers played and additions made.

soo.... i guess ill come on tonight hoping the server has regs in it and isnt a pyro whore fest... and try and play Well to see how it is..

What little I played, I got a ton of kills and damage with me as heavy and a medic backing me =D. On another note, my wife scored me my only pyro achievement thus far. Not sure which, but she was playing with a friend of ours and got it, hahahaha! Now if she can only get me the other 38....

The lameness is some of the achievement dont even work i guarantee i lighted like 5 snipers on fire while they were zoomed in and i checked it was still at zero.

Good thing valve put the report bug menu back in.

ive lit 2 scouts on fire simultaneously and didnt get credit wtf, also on the medic achievement for ubering 2 people at one time, ive tried that many times and no go. anyone know how these achievements are done?

I have noticed this said here yet, but one thing I like about the Pyro achievements is that you don't have to get all of them in order to unlock the weapons, only 22 of them. Which is nice, because its unlikely that I will ever get ALL of the medic achievements.

Also, at one point last night our team didn't have a single pyro on it for at least 5 min. That's with 8-10 players per team too, not a 3v3 or something.

On a side note, I wasn't awarded any Pyro achievements retroactively, was that intentional on Valve's part or is mine broke? (Or do I suck? - although Pyro is my 3rd most played class, it is also my lowest points class other than the Demo).
