    Somebody like you (me too) who uses pyro SOMETIMES and wants to know what the weapons are all about, may be best served by hitting up a grind server to pound out some achievements and get the goodies. I visited 4 grinding servers, 3 of them were total jokes with griefers ruining the fun and the 4th was awesome. Everybody was helping eachother, all talk was on, people were in different areas of the map doing different kinds of achievements...there were medics healing scoped snipers so you could get that achievement, there were people jumping in and out of the water so you could get the baptism achievement, there were cloaked spies standing next to med cabinets so you could get that achievement, it was joyous!

    I think I got 2 achievements i needed for the first unlock in about 30 seconds then I stuck around and got like, 20 more achievements in about 15 minutes.

    Imagine TTP started a Pyro Achievement Grinding Server, It was that good.

    I guess its just another facet of the game we as skilled engineers have to deal with just like we as skilled pyros have to deal with back-pedaling medics sucking our health away with the new needle gun. It was very frustrating at the beginning but you just have to adjust... Before the update I was able to put down a level 2 sentry while dancing around it given the right line of attack. Not saying it for a pissing contest, just showing that a pyro can be a problem close range for any squishy or metallic foe...

    I think you only need 22 total for all 3 unlocks. And milestones 1 and 2 count as achievements, so you really only need 20.

    Flare gun is amazing, IMHO....Before this, pyo's couldn't do ANY effective range damage (I mean, shotty is cool, but still, it's called a scattergun on the scout for a reason :-P) Lighting up a sniper from battlement to battlement on 2fort is pretty fun...

    Backburner is pretty much Teh Shitz...but would be even BETTER if it was called "The Burninator" I LOOOVE the behind-crit-chance...it's seriously amazing.

    Axetinguisher is kinda lame....I don't like the 0 crit chance...but then again, if I have somebody of fire, I generally finish them WITH my flamethrower....


    And what is this compression blast you speak of? I've yet to even try it out :-P

    all pyros get this regardless of unlocks with the latest patch. alt fire of the original flamethrower has an airblast that blows stuff back.

    I dunno... You get 5 ubered medics (5 healing, 5 attacking) you can go a long way.

    All I'm saying is having 2 pyros is not as useful as having 1 medic and 1 pyro...if they know how to play properly.
