i wouldnt mind some help. right now im just getting a bunch of thoughts together all over the place. I have a folder on my desktop called tf2 guide with a bunch of documents with different things in there. So far i have a list of each classes weapons and I have put very strong descriptions and tactics on how to use the weapons for the first 3 classes (scout soldier pyro)

not directly, but from what I understand they come with more frequency when you are playing really well. If you aen't they just come at a base, small percentage.

Actually, it's the longer that you live, the greater the chance that you will get a crit, up to a certain percentage...can't remember what it was though.

Close, but I think its based upon the damage you have done in the life. The percentage chance for a crit is somewhere between 5-20%, if you have done a bunch of damage recently the likelihood of a crit on the next shot is increase. So if you stay alive along time and cause siginificant damage, as anyone who has played with Smoken can confirm he does, then you will get crits like Smoken.

Basically, the conclusion was..

The effects of this 'super crits' timezone are barely noticeable in a regular game due to the crit chance being so small (0.05). But with the crit chance higher this crit multiple they use becomes more pronounced, and it definitely does exist. However it is not as they would have you believe, you do not get more crits for being skilled, you get more crits for killing a couple people around the same time, or its probably safe to say, a 'double kill.'

However, talking outside of the data, I think it is clear that during this time you are 4 times as likely to crit. So in a standard game your crit chance would be 20% after getting a double kill.

As to how long it lasts, I did do a simple test using the demoman. I chose this character because he has the most amount of ammo I could use without reloading. I used sticky bombs at 25% crit chance and found that he consistently crit as long as 20 seconds after scoring the double kills. However, I repeated this test with other weapons such as the rocket launcher and shotgun and did not get nearly as long.
In all the tests the time they consistently got crits was pretty constant to each weapon so I can only assume that this element is influenced by the weapon and / or weapon type.

Don't take it too bad, Sherriff gets an irregular amount of crits. I think 95% of his kills on me are crits. It's insane....hacks.

The other night I was sticking to him like glue with my Kritzkrieg.

The Jihad Scout works well on him as a counter. It's like a 2142 Jihad Jeep except that you use a scout instead of a jeep and Smoken's rockets instead of RDX.
