How come side stabs don't work anymore? I can stab people from behind easy, but the side stab thing doesn't to work anymore. Update?

thats called a face stab and ppl dont like it
i think the update either got rid of it or made it harder to do

As long as they fixed the backstab whiffs, I have no problem with them fixing facestabs.

If they just fixed facestabs and left the buggy ass backstab hitboxes in place, I call failure.

The hitboxes are still messy and you can still get side/front stabs.

Well, you can't REALLY get side hits, it's normally lag that happens. Or just a trick of the knife, as the hitboxes are actual boxes.

Depending on what time frame you're talking, this might be something real you're noticing; they did narrow the possible angle of stabs quite some time back.

Knife, and in fact all melee weapons, have nothing to do with hitboxes.

For real. Nothing worse than running up on an medic who is ready to uber.......you stab.....no kill.......now you're burning..........
