Scripts!
I was wondering if anyone had some usefull/cool TF2 scripts. I myself use a few, all written by myself, and I decided it's about time to share them! All the keys in my scripts are rebindable, but they all assume you use the following weapon selection scheme:
Mouse Wheel Up - Primary
Mouse Wheel Down - Secondary
Middle Mouse - Melee
Some of my scripts (engineer and spy) deal with creating new methods to select slots 4 and 5. If you do not use this selection scheme you can still use the scripts, only they are optimised for those who use this, and you may have to make some script changes.
Your Script Folder is located at
Program Files/Steam/steamapps/_username/team fortress 2/tf/cfg
For those who do not wish to go through an ardourus installation process you may simply download the files from the end of this post and overwrite your entire cfg folder. For those who want to keep their current scripts/binds things are a bit more complex. Since many of my scripts are very complex I would recommend backing up your config folder then overwriting the whole thing with my scripts and then reinstalling old scripts/binds over top of mine.
Important Note: The way I set up my scripts it's impossible to rebind keys ingame (sadly a neccesity for the spy script) instead you must navigate to cfg/scripts/defKeys.txt and manualy re-enter your binds there. Additional script specific keys are discussed in each script entry.
1) Engineer Build Menu Script
Tapping "q" oppens the build menu, double tapping "q" opens the destroy building menu.
Script-Specific Keys:
cfg/Scripts/Engineer/auxSlotsSwitcher.cfg - Bottom of the file
2)Spy Disguise Menu Script
Tapping "Q" temporairly rebinds the keyboard as follows:
q - disguise as scout
w - disguise as soldier
e - disguise as pyro
a - disguise as demoman
s - disguise as heavy
d - disguise as engineer
z - disguise as medic
x - disguise as sniper
c - disguise as spy
Using any of these keys, as well as applying the selected disguise returns keyboard bindings to normal. All the keys are positioned around or in the normal WASD combination, as to require little finger movement
As an added bonus, Shift is bound to toggle between friendly and enemy disguises. This is the most complex of my scripts, so please read the instructions!
Script-Specific Keys:
cfg/Scripts/Spy/spyDefKeys.cfg
cfg/Scripts/Spy/spyDisguiseMenu_keys.cfg
3) 3 Keystroke Voice Menu
makes the voice menu act somewhat liek the one in tribes.
Inputting a combination of the z, x, and c keys will initate a voice command, a complete list
zzz - Help!
zzx - Go Go Go!
zzc - incoming!
zxz - Go left!
zxx - Move up!
zxc - Go right!
zc - Sentry Ahead!
xz - Medic!
xxz - Uber Ready!
xxx - Activate Charge!
xxc - Battlecry!
xcz - Need a Sentry here
xcx - Need a Dispenser here!
xcc - Need a Teleporter here!
czz - Cheers
czx - Jeers
czc - Nice shot!
cxz - Positive
cxx - Negative
cxc - Good job!
ccz - Yes
ccx - No
ccc - Thanks!
It also has an optional menu feature to make it easier to learn what does what. This does have the side effect of really spamming lots of stuff to the console, and preventing anything not part of this script from getting through (ex; status command in console, kill/death record in console)
Script-Specific Keys:
cfg/Scripts/3ClickVoice.cfg - Bottom of the file
4) Loadout Switcher Scripts
Everyone should have these, they allow you to switch between different loadouts with the tap of the button. Especially important for medics who might switch KK/Medigun a lot. You only have to take the first step into your spawn and then tap the switch button and your alt-weapon is ready to go!
Script-Specific Keys:
cfg/Scripts/medic/medicLoadoutSwitcher.cfg - Bottom of the file
cfg/Scripts/pyro/pyroLoadoutSwitcher.cfg - Bottom of the file
cfg/Scripts/heavy/heavyLoadoutSwitcher.cfg - Bottom of the file
Anyways, here's a link! If anyone want's any more help installing/using these jsut ask!

All these scripts should be CEVO/CAL legal, according to the below two links:

http://www.caleague.com/?division=tf2
Nontheless, I would double check before any match.

Re: Scripts!
Oops, forgot the link.
Anyw2ays, on CEVO/Cal, i think they approve scripts on a case-by case basis by reviewing them, but these should pass the requirements. They are realy little more than fancy remappings of keys, they don't do anything you couldn't do normaly, other than perhaps lettign you disguise as sniper without moving oyur hand all the way to the 8 key, but you could've jsut rebound say "f" to disguise as sniper anyways.

am I correct in that, if I want auto reload, all I have to do is type +reload at the console? I wouldn't mind some help with an auto reload script as I get tired of bashing the R key. Only for demo.

Re: Scripts!
keep in mind that tf2 runs off the source engine which allows the use of alias commands, so really you can make your own commands. g15 keyboard can really take advagtage of it by the ability to program the extra 54 keys (18*3) in which you can program to aliass you make
for example in dods when i am testing stats, ive made:
alias recon "rcon_address 192.168.1.104; rcon_password **********"
alias bbots "rcon sv_cheats 1; rcon bot; rcon bot; rcon bot_zombie 1"
etc
then i just program 2 of my gkeys, one for the command recon and another for bbots, and that only takes up 2 of my 54 keys!!!!!!!!!!
