MOTD Intro Music?!

How loud do some of you people have your volume? I can barely hear any of the intros and I still have plenty of volume in game.

Any of you that have been in the servers know the intro music is coming so just turn your fn volume down for a second. Dont ruin this great feature for the rest of us just because you jack your shit up so high that your ears bleed by the end of the nite.

As much as I enjoy hearing smoken bitch and yell over the mic, I can't say I'd like to hear his "Get some!" over the mic everytime I join the server.

Also, it'd probably give off the impression that he owns/runs the server. I know when there are :|EvO|: guys on the CSS servers dominating, we get the "Do you guys own this server?" "No, it's TexasTeamPlayers, we're just a resident clan."

However, with Smoken's famous "Get some!" and him always being one of the leaders on the team/scoreboard, we might be giving off some wrong impressions.

I like the rotation, and hear far less bitching about the tunes as it is.

I like most of the songs, it really is a good rotation. Now being able to bind a key to "Get Some!" would be sweet. Leave it alone I love hearing the music.

Think of a new player joining the server. They hear it and may think we are some noobish wacky radio DJ server.

You all know how the songs work and will keep coming back...think of how we represent to new players.

When you vote the poll, think of that.

I would like to see all clips down to 5 seconds.

I enjoy the variety, but agree that volume leveling and length need a little more attention.

Same premise as I wrote above. Regs know about it so its trivial I agree.

This topic should really be "MOTD Intro Music and how it may affect new players to TTP?"

Yeah, I see so many players come in, say the music sucks, and just leave because of it. :P

Slightly sarcastic, but I really doubt we are losing connections over an intro song.
