Is it just me?

I am having a technical issue with TF2 lately. I cannot change weapons loads in-game.
For example, f I start out with kritz, it will not let me change back to uber unless I disconnect from the server.
Same for all the other weapons for all the classes. When I click on the "equip" button, it takes me back to the screen that shows the loadout for the selected class, but the weapon does not change to what I selected. I got stuck with Natasha when I really needed Sasha the other day and yesterday, I thought I would go with Kritz, but was forced to stay with Uber. So my question, before I start troubleshooting, is am I the only one with this issue or is this a known problem with a fix coming soon from Valve?

Go to the medicine cabinet after you've changed your loadout. If this doesn't work, I have no clue

It ought to change after you die or switch classes. Just change it, go spy real quick, then go back to a real class :9

Ya its the medicine cabinet, you have to touch it after you equip the weapon. It got put in recently to stop some exploits with loadouts.

Oh, please.

TFC was a real game where the spy was actually balanced. A simple flame thrower or occasional turn around will do the trick in TF2.

Plus, ALL classes can reveal spies, not just scouts..

Damn, I think I'm going to play TFC tonight....
or not.

I think you are not understanding the issue. It does not even let me equip different weapons on the menu while connected to a server. If I disconnect, then I can change loadouts no problemo.
