    Headwear, and the 50 item backpack - Random item drops?

    TF2 the MMO? Im just trying to fan some speculation here, but the steam forums are on fire with crazy ideas about what this all can mean.
    Because Valve are going to implement the randomized weapon drop feature and let players fill up their backpacks with weapons that have different levels and attributes. So you'll never lose the chance to regain a weapon you've already deleted, but you might not find one easily with the exact same specs, and you'll probably be able to collect multiple copies of the same weapons up to 50 loadout slots too.

    I would be too. I'd also be very surprised if Valve actually wanted to spend that much time on making that shit. I'd also be surprised if they actually managed to finish making an update like that if they made one.

    I could definitely see some sort of mod being created/implemented that would restrict all unlocks to the normal ones that they've come out with so as not to have people running around with ridiculous weapon combos.

    other speculation is that it will be isolated to a new game mode. similar the WC3 mod for CSS. like rpg_well, rpg_2fort, etc.

    TF2 thrives on balance and the more combinations they make, the harder it is to balance. be careful valve......

    Personally, I don't see the point. Leave the unlocks how they are, don't screw up the delicate balance of things.

    I like reading how people on the Steam forums think that this is so cool, and that TF2 with all these MMO things will be so awesome, and that if you want a competitive game, don't play.
