    TF2 update June 25th

    Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

    Linux Dedicated Server


    Improved connection logic to help servers that aren't automatically reconnecting to Steam, and added extra logging to track it

    Added extra data gathering to help us understand and improve Linux performance


    Team Fortress 2

    Changed cl_flipviewmodels so it can no longer be set while connected to a server

    Fixed problem with Loadout Menu "Back" button not preserving the currently equipped weapon

    Fixed a case where an observer could set the observed player's view models

    Fixed the Heavy's punches not matching mouse button presses when the view models are flipped

    Fixed Bonk! ammo count exploit after using a regeneration locker

    Fixed Dead Ringer damage reduction exploit involving Spy taunting

    Reverted Force-A-Nature and airblast knockback on disguised Spies, so that they can once again be knocked back


    Missed notes from previous update

    The Ambassador no longer penetrates buildings

    Removed the movement speed penalty on The Razorback

    So um.... I guess the only thing worth noting is that the razorback had it's movement penalty taken off? handy

    Jade, you are remarkably on top of the TF2 updates, are you interested in maybe being a TF2 admin at some point?

    Yes, that is exactly what it means.
    Sweet, I thought that whole thing was sort of lame, if they had wanted you to be able to switch it on the fly, they would have made a button for it like console games often use R3 for. Thanks for clearing that up.

    I am interested, I'm only wary about how long I've been around TTP compared to others....

    I would say reverting knockback on cloaked spies and the flipviewmodels settings are significant too. I actually bound my mwheel to switch hands, and it did add a little to soldier gameplay at least, though it was a little bs from a certain point of view.
