How is it stat padding? The idle program doesn't affect your TF2 statistics whatsoever (while achievement servers do).

Yes, yes it does. It simulates the player sitting in spectator while connected to a server.

I have no idea how the program works...but in my mind, I think it makes you "choose a class" then do your cheap stuff, but when you choose a class, it logs your time in and such...but I have no idea how the program works.

You don't choose a class, you stay in spectator. But the time is still accrued in your steam gameplay stats.

Unless Seraphim has actually had time to play 120 hours of TF2 in the last two weeks (12 hours a day playing games)?

Not to mention that the 'server' that you 'connect' too is... mearly a hacked together collection of code that simulates a server by tricking the Steam Cloud into thinking you are connected to a legit server.

So shady it is physically painful.

im going to go on a limb and say: so?
Name me one person who doesn't have every single item (barring hats).

    What? No one?

I'm not going to do it, I don't give a shit about hats. They don't do anything except look cool. I have too many regular items as it is now. If someone wants to do it, then they can go nuts. But I'm not, and I don't care if someone else does it.

    Re: Fake Idle Server

And really... if you want all the shit, and you just can't wait for it at all then go to an achievement or idle server.

But using a cobbled together program that connects you to a fake server that sends fake information to the Steam Cloud to act like it is a full TF2 server (when in reality it has none of the TF2 server files on it) is borderline hacking.
