Well, playing highlander with random class selection would probably be a better way of gauging a player's absolute skill level - the more skilled players would adapt effectively and be able to help their team, even as a class they're unfamiliar with.
6v6 is probably less reliant on individual player ability and more reliant on team cohesion, though.

What ever happened to the link to the match server/FNF arrangements? Used to be right here at the top of the page
No one's tried to schedule one since May, I believe, its been kind of dead for awhile.
Unfortunately an FNF tonight wouldn't work for me but... I think its something to get going again
