New equipment idea topic
Post new ideas you have for equipment, for any class (Whether it has an update or not).
Format:
-Name [Class] (If you can't think of something clever just say what it is, such as my "Wire-Guided Rockets" one.)
-Appearance (How is it different from normal equipment, or does it look completely new?)
-Description (What does it do?)
Here is one of mine. May add more later.
==========
Wire-Guided Rockets [Soldier]
Appearance: These rockets look a bit like the Payload bomb, but much smaller and longer rather than short and fat. They're about the size of ordinary Soldier rockets. They're painted your team's color, and have eyes/fangs painted on them like old U.S. fighters and frigates. The launcher also has the eyes and fangs painted on it, but it is completely black.
Description: When you fire a rocket, you can guide it with the mouse. It is quite maneuverable, but you can't, say, make it go in circles--It will always be moving generally forward. You can right-click to make it explode in mid-flight, otherwise it will keep going for 10 seconds (Should be enough unless the map is really huge). The wire-guided rocket has a wider explosion range and significantly better damage than normal rockets. The tradeoff is: 1) You can only hold 10 extra rockets. 2) Only one can be loaded at a time. 3) No reloading until the rocket is detonated--You can't guide it and reload at the same time. Basically, it allows for more accurate shots, and you can pull things like hitting a Sentry or Sniper from around a corner. The wide explosion range helps with this. However, it is worse than the shotgun in closer quarters because only one rocket can be loaded at a time and the large explosion range will probably catch you too.

The Fast Draw (scout)
Looks like revolver used by police
Basically a scouts Ambassador, it's accurate and does more damage than the pistol, but there's no headshot capabilities and reloads slow (one bullet at a time).
The Chancellor (spy)
Looks like a old colt .45 single action revolver that's a sort of bronze/copper looking color with a Maple wood handle and mysterious symbols on it. (to implicate the enigma that is the spy I suppose)
100% accurate, does 15% more damage, but after each shot you have to reset the hammer, and when you reload it's one shot at a time like the shotgun and grenade launcher.
The Hat Trick (spy)
Not sure, I guess a wrist watch with two separate clocks in it, Shaped in sort of a 8 shape.
Basically kinda like the target dummy plasmid from Bioshock. When you cloak you are put a certain amount of feet from your position and a dummy is put in your place. The enemy sees the dummy and starts shooting at it, but it doesn't take damage or show any blood.
It's basically a quick escape device designed to create a distraction while you disguise and get away. The dummy it creates is whatever color spy you are but doesn't show your disguise. I don't know if I want to add a effect to the dummy where the enemy attacks it something happens to them. Maybe instead this could replace your knife or revolver? I don't know, it's an odd one. Someone else had a similar idea.
Plenty more ideas in my noggin but I need to go get some lunch... :P

'Couple of ones I've been kicking around for Medic.
1: The Tranquilizer: Shoots needles that disorientate (make screen wobble blurred vision ect.) and slow down enemies 15% of normal speed. But does no damage. Each needle makes the effect last for .3 seconds.
2: The Overhealer. Looks like 2 mediguns crudely duck taped together. Can buff friendlies up to 100% as opposed to 50% (so Heavies have 600, soldiers 400, etc etc.) however, charges 50% slower than regular medi-gun and does not get the pre-round buff towards it.
3: Ze Ubermensh (however its spelled) A old fashioned wooden handled bonesaw covered in dried blood. Takes 33% of damage you inflict on enemies and converts it to health for you, including a buff up to 50% of normal health. Buff will degrade normally as if a medic had buffed you up to it. Has a 33%(or 25, havent decided) slower fire rate than the regular bonesaw.
