How to remove timer from HUD (but not health icons) for demo playback

Notice how the in-game timer is not present (although he has added an external timer, probably in his video editing software) but the health and ammo part of the HUD still are there.

How can I do this?

www.pldx.com has detailed guides on tf2 movie making, check those out. They have configs for hud editing I think for movies.

Or download a custom hud like m0re's hud, and then edit the .res file that affects the timer. His has a custom timer, so it should be able to be removed. http://m0re.nocrits.com/

Nah, don't have any really good frags recorded. But I'm pretty stoked on my 2:40 rocketeer basic (even though I've seen it done in 1:50

) and I do have it recorded so I figured I'd render it up. Not a record by any means, but a very good time for me with no major mistakes the whole run. My goal is to one day beat 2 minutes. I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with these stupid rj maps.

Yeh check out pldx, they have the guides to make good movies with programs instead of using fraps or some sort of screencap program.

Coors why do you always tell people useful things that I want to tell them before I do

Indeed, I like PLDX's software although the first time I got it, TF2/hl2.exe crashed and when I played normally my HUD was missing and I had to reinstall TF2 completely (verify GCF didn't work :5)

so just be wary
