Demomen annoy me

I feel someone bitching about a class being over-powered is because they cant find a way to beat them a majority of times when encountered. As Joe said, 'you are playing too predictably'. Thats why I love this game. There are endless possibilities and scenarios that you can encounter and you need to be flexible enough to change your strategy and/or play style at any given time in the game.

Its funny that there is talk about always running through sticky traps. I was trying to take D through C on Steel and RADIO RAHEEEEM was just standing there on the point, so I about to jump down after running through that little C to D corridor and he sticky-trapped the doorway. Came back as a pyro to airblast what I thought would be the same sticky trap, was about to turn the corner at the end of the corridor this time and instead he stickied that corner and saw me through the little side window. Came back a third time, checked every nook and cranny carefully this time. Nothing. No stickies, no RAHEEEEM. Jumping down to cap D and the second after I jump, I see RAHEEM out of the corner of my screen in the D to E corridor and BOOM! He stickied the ledge under me. I wasnt even mad. Thats impressive... haha

I've never had a problem with demomen. I dont even use the sticky grenades that much when playing with him, I got good at aiming with the pipes so i will just leave a few stickys on the point and then use the pipes to get kills unless i need to reload.

For 22/24 man, he's around fairly balanced if not a bit annoying with sticky spam.

I agree 100%. Explosives work the best on small maps and tight rooms. In a 32 man sever, you're essentially making every map smaller.

That's something we enforce here on ttp. I was sapping Gigs buildings as well killing the him and occasionally killing a soldier or demo. Saying I'm I went into a rage fit makes me sound like I had no reason to be mad when I did. I got rid of most anything that could stop you from capping a point, and you guys barely pushed. I'm sorry but I've seen people pull ubers out easily here on ttp. I expect you or anyone else to do the same, and if you can't, you shouldn't be playing here. Because it's not just me who expects that from you, everyone expects their team to push on cp map, not turtle.

As for the conversation regarding demos, I may give it a try again soon. I just get annoyed when demos use nothing but stickies, just something about gets under my skin. Like pyros who don't use compression blast.

That's not "anything that could stop you from capping a point," that's 1 engy out of 6 combat classes and 3 medics and we were still getting crushed

Ok, Recommendation for when a team has like 4 demos all together? Thats the only time they annoy me. Most of the time I agree that just a change of tactics is called for. I thought the whole point of the demo was to block pathways, same as a sentry, just sneakier
