I use 1.3 at 2000dpi, windows sensitivity on the middle tick, no filter and no accel. I move my mouse about 6 inches to do a full 360 in game.

Yeh the pldx form lets you fill out the band/song name and I guess that makes it legit since it credits them at the start? Dunno. You can get around youtube by clicking on the form to dispute it I hear.

I opened the demos in tf2 and outputted the raw targa images for the clips. I opened them in virtual dub and compiled them and audio into an uncompressed avi. Then I opened the clips in sony vegas and edited, then used vegas to render the video as a .mp4 with the x264 codec at 6000 bps, 128k audio.

And yeh, the saturation/glow is quite a bit overdone. But nice otherwise.

I did get a little crazy with the saturation I think....I got influenced by this scout video which did it a lot better than I did. Ah well. Maybe you can tell me what settings I should have used, was it color or something instead? http://www.pldx.com/movie/797/daniel_and_slardel/

As far as scout jump - it is possible Scouts can make a jump from lower ramp to up top. Thats why I was firing at that spot cause someone was yelling he was on his way up and I figured he would take that little shortcut.

One more thing I forgot to mention in case anyone else makes tf2 movies...I lazed out and used a tf2 resolution of 852x480 when I outputted the raw footage, that was a mistake....I should have used 1280x720.

I didn't have a) enough hard drive space or b) the patience since it takes a lot longer to render the clips, but it would have made the vid quality better on pldx, like most of the more recent vids on there that are 720p instead of 480p. Ah well, lesson learned.

they may have used more contrast but there is a little saturation.
you just need to back off it and it'll be fine. only time it bothered me was gpit and freight.
