Remember yesterday when Team Fortress 2 was on sale for the ridiculous, mathematically-basically-zero price of $2.49? According to the bean counters, we're now broke. Man, what were we thinking? Man they really are crazy. But you know what, it is a good strategy. People will buy from them and keep looking for crazy deals, makes them look like they care (even if they don't) and it will eventually get them just as much if not more from selling the game for $20.

They should do the same for new games too for a limited time like that, like say L4D2 or Borderlands. I'm sure they'd get plenty of sales for both of those games.

It's perfect to get people hooked and then when TF3 comes out they have a guaranteed sale.
