Windowed + noborder = awesome

So my question is what is so important that you need to alt tab? I get in game to get away from all the other BS. And I know what ONE of your answers might be, and I have that same issue, but it never requires me to alt tab.

Actually, no you couldn't post screenshots of how your display represents color, unless you took a photo of your display (which a color calibrated and white balanced camera).

The whole point of the OP wasn't alt tabbing. It was that you can effectively play at any aspect ratio this way, and thus increase your FOV to whatever you want. You can play at 16:9 on a 4:3 display.

Alt tabbing is another benefit, but if you don't need it, the don't use it. Comp players have to alt tab a lot, and other people have personal reasons why they'd need to.

I use windowed mode mostly for the ease of alt + tab. Most of my TF2 time is eaten up in scrims, and such, so getting on irc to find said scrims is a must. In windowed mode I can look for the next scrim while still in game waiting to spawn. That advantage alone is well worth it for me.
