Playing medic on a bad team can be torture, but it is fun to call the shots and turn your team around. At first medic seems like an unsatisfying class, I mean who likes having a 1-25 kd on the winning team? But as you play more it is the easiest class to see your own impact on. Bam, I just saved that demo, bam I just caught that burning soldier, bam I kept that engy alive and now we have the point. The more of your guys that are staying alive, the more of their guys die. Thats why I like playing medic.

I only play medic when I have a good responsive player to pocket... It's too frustrating and just not a fun position otherwise.

Generally when we have a good soldier running around, we will also have plenty of medics fumbling over themselves to be their pocket. Funny how that works.

I'll third that. When there are 5 guys on a point and they let a scout run in and own my medic, it gets depressing.

I rarely choose it for shits and giggles, but if my team needs it I don't mind at all, it can be a really fun class

I rarely play it because I need someone who can protect me and I feel playing one of my main classes wouldbe more benifitial.

Medic is fun when you have a team that actually guards you. It pisses me off to no end when I'm healing a heavy, soldier, and a demo, and I get a scattergun in the face for my troubles. Thats why most people dont play medic. and the fact it will screw up their almighty K

I don't play medic because I like to pocket for the medic. They make great spy bait which means a happy ruukil and a VERY dead spy.

I enjoy playing medic, everyone likes you and if your with regs then your always protected. Plus there are those times when you just gotta pull out your needle gun and go to work, which is incredibly satisfying
