Re: Are you scared...
No one should be afraid of playing medic. Everyone will love you if you are a medic. It\\\'s the most loving class in the game
. I play medic every now and then.....I only play it when someone bitches over the mic complaining about not having a medic but i still play it lol.

I've never understood cause I think knowing how to play medic means improving your overall game...
It's like this; give 2 guys a gun and they both will shoot. Give 1 guy a gun and the other nothing, one will learn to dodge. Now give the same dodger the gun and let him fight the other with a gun and see who wins.

Re: Are you scared...
med is fun and will make your team win if you dont like to lose. only annoying cause you die without really killing people so it effs with you mentally. sometimes u gotta go a diff class to blow stuff up or pewpew on heads or else you might lose your mind.

it's kinda lol cause a ton of people seem to think that they're team couldn't function with them not playing what they want... a lot also seem to think that they can protect a medic really well.. if there really are this many people who are that good then we shouldn't have a problem getting people on medic, hard to believe that there aren't at least two people who have posted in this thread that aren't on at the same time..... help each other boost your ranks

I pay medic quite often but it is a lesson in futility when no one will spy check and then people scatter when a single enemy comes into view.
I have a great time playing medic when people are actually talking and letting me know what they are doing and when they need a heal. I enjoy playing medic when there is at least 1 reg on that I can count on to stand and die when I need to retreat. As medic I am more important than you.

As for a team that does not protect against a pick switch to the blutsauger. You can usually keep yourself alive against a charging demo, scout, or a pyro. A FaN scout can still get a pick due to the high burst, but in general you can survive to fall back to your team as they re-spawn. I have lost many matches with only one death. If my team dies at mid I fall back, if they die again I fall back again to make a stand on our last point(with uber by this point). If you can't fight them off at that point then they deserved the win.
Some people let a bad team frustrate them too much. It gets to me when I know that by switching classes could turn things around. It does not bother me nearly as much when you have good balance, but your team is just not that good. In those cases I play to the best of my ability and get over the fact that my team will not win. Give them tips and pointers so they know how to get better, and enjoy the small victories like a well timed uber or defense against a would be backstabber.
