I've been teleporting more and more recently on the TTP pubs and even in smaller games elsewhere - I'm performing one action, TF2 freezes for anywhere up to 3 seconds and motion resumes

. Before, the lagging occured right after I killed some or got killed. Today it seemed I like I lagged up anywhere and whenever TF2 thought was appropriate

. This was still true after I turned off my av :\. Anyone else having similar problems? Any ideas on getting rid of stoppage time :S?

Yeah pretty much right before I get a kill or right before I get killed I get lag spikes. A lot of people have been getting it and its not just in the ttp servers. Hopefully and update patches it soon

Steam Cloud is supposedly what's causing the problem. But that's just what I've heard, I'm not completely sure if it's true.

definitely confirming this. my soldier game has already gotten ruined a few times by this stuff. i hope they make a fix real soon.

Same here, but only about a half-second. Right after a kill or a death, like Kid sez.

It's annoying.

Im getting the same lag, but specifically when I run across a snipers dot, It doesnt even have to end in them killing me but sometimes it does.

I can especially notice it in a melee fight.

Same here, everytime I kill someone my game stutters/lags. Or when I get killed.

It started right after the steam cloud update.

I turned off steam cloud and that didn't help, although I hear it helps some people.
