Reminds me of the experiment in highschool chem where the teacher blew bubbles of hydrogen on a counter and then threw matches at them...well, it wasn't really an experiment, but it was cool to watch.

We did the same thing, but with methane, and we would hold the bubbles as we set them on fire.

We did the same thing... except our teacher filled a balloon full of hydrogen and we blew it up using a candle on a reeeeaaaally long stick.

We did this exact lab in chemistry and it was the best lab of the whole semester. Except we did it in a shallow dish open dish in a vent so we could see all the action.
