TF2 Blog: Engineer Update is Here!
Say you have two things: a perfectly good hand, and a brilliant inventor for a grandfather. One day you stumble across a blueprint for an amazing-as-hell robot hand meant to replace an arm-stump. Wait, you have three things: the hand, the grandfather, and a saw.

Doesn't sound like I'm going to be using The Gunslinger much, if it all. Too much of a downgrade, IMO. But, we'll see it how it works.

I may actually use the gunslinger. Since I appear to be horrid at regular engineer, this may give me a chance to be able to lay one down real fast and then use the new shotty once it's done. I like it.

As someone who never plays Engineer I can say I'm looking forward to the update. Gunslinger is perfect for offensive Engys, especially when combo'd with FJ. The Wrangler is a nice teamplay-based unlock for Engys working together, so I can only see good things coming from that on a server like TPG. Moving sentries is really going to add to his utility and overall usefulness on 5cp maps where the Engy traditionally struggles. Plus guitar tauntkill is pure awesome.

It may not be exactly what we wanted for an offensive engie, but I think this is a HUGE step in the right direction. I assume there will be a cap on how many combat sentries you can set down but if you can set at least 3 think of all the possibilities!!

Re: TF2 Blog: Engineer Update is Here!
I dislike they're choice in the wrangler, itll be ok but I'd rather of seen a different build for the sentry or something? Lvl one sentrys go down in seconds and this one gets less damage on top of that. Not too glad bout that.
Though being able to pick up my lvl 3 sentry and move it to the next poiint is a BIG plus!
