What do you think of mini-sentries?
Some people view them as easy targets that even a Scout could take out one-on-one, but personally, I love those little guns!
If placed in the right hands, those tiny terrors can really bring on the hurt! Plus, if you're smart with your Wrangler, you can quickly defend an area and put a good push back to the enemy.
Enough of my rambling though, what do you guys think about them? Do you think at all that they need any buff (maybe a small one), or do you think they're fine as they are?To clear any confusion: Xanthur34 is my username, but Soleg is my Steam name.

It's so much a when as it is an if. You forget how stupid the community can be, like, omg let's add stats to hats! Or some of the other ridiculous ideas they come up with. Like a Throwing Knife for Spy that instakills on a headshot.

They're pretty worthless on their own but do well when the Engineer fights along side them like he should. The only problem is that when using the FJ I often rob myself of revenge crits by killing the targets my sentry was shooting. So if my gun is hitting a player, doing damage to them but then I come and take the kill, the sentry won't get an assist and I won't get my crit. Sometimes I purposely stop shooting just so my sentry can get the final hit but more often than not this tactic gets me killed. They are fun little diversions and it probably won't hurt to add a bit more damage (maybe -33% vs the current -50%) and fix the no assist problem. As it stands though a gunslinger Engy doesn't have that much to offer to the team, especially when you could get a normal wrench and a wrangler and really be a threat.
I'd also like to be able to heal them. They have little hp as it is, so if one gets damaged to below 75% life you might as well just rebuild it because 1 hit from anything will finish it off.Last edited by sleeepy; 07-25-10 at 02:16 AM.
